STUDENTS ACHIEVEMENTS

MOOT COURT COMPETITIONS
 I. The team consisting of Manoj M, Rigved Prasad and Shuwakitha Chandrasekaran secured the Runner-up position in 2nd Surana & Surana & Shaastra IITM IP Law Moot Court Competition which was conducted from 4th - 6th January, 2019. In addition to that, Rigved Prasad and Shuwakitha Chandrasekaran secured the positions of the Second Best Student Advocate and Best Student Advocate respectively. The moot problem was based on Technology Law. Congratulations to the team for combating in an emerging subject of law..   II. TNNLU has bagged the Winning Trophy at the recently concluded XIX TSV Memorial Ever Rolling Trophy Moot Court 2019 at GLC-Ernakulam between 25th January, 2019 and 27th January, 2019. Congratulations to the winning team consisting of Aravind Raj, Disha Jain and Piyush Chakravarty for making us proud.
 
 III. The team consisting of Vinudeep R, Ashwin Bala, and Thejashvini have won the award for the Best Memorial at the 3rd Shesha Iyengar Ramasamy Memorial National Tamil Moot Court Competition held at AGLC- Pondicherry.   IV. The team comprising of Aashray Suresh, Kamesh Gaud & Piyush Chakravarty were adjudged the winners of 14th All India Moot Court Competition for Justice V.R. Krishna Iyer Ever-Rolling Trophy conducted by Government Law College, Trivandrum conducted from February 28 - March 2, 2019. Also, Kamesh Gaud was adjudged as the Best Researcher of the competition.
 
 V. The team consisting of Surya Narayana, Ashwin Bala and Vinudeep bagged the best team 2nd Runners up and Aishwarya won the best book review runners up at the Lex Orbis International Trade Law Moot conducted by SDM Law College from March 14 - 16, 2019.   VI. The team consisting of Isiri SD, Dhruti Lunker and Raghavi. R of II year bagged the runners up trophy at 2nd Dr. RU Singh Memorial National Moot Court Competition conducted by the Faculty of Law, University of Lucknow during 22nd - 24th February, 2019
 
 VII. The University Team comprising of Sirat Sapra (Speaker 1), Shilpa Singh (Speaker 2) and Yash Tandon (Researcher) won the Runners Up trophy in the 7th National National Moot court Competition, 2019 held at Bishop Cotton Women’s Christian Law College, Bengaluru. The team also won the Best Memorial Award. Sirat Sapra was also adjudged as the Best Promising advocate and Best Male Advocate.  
 
ADR
I. TNNLU wins the Mediation at the 4th NADR Competition, 2018 organised by the School of Law, Christ University. The winning team consisted of II Year students, Ms.Tamasaa and Mr. Nilanjan Kolay, who were awarded a trophy, certificate and a cash prize of Rs.10,000.   II. Congratulations to the TNNLU team comprising of Supriyo Ranjan, Yalarvathi Prasad and Sarthak Mishra, who have won the best memorial in the G D Goenka - ClArb (India) International Commercial Arbitration Competition, 2018 organised by School of Law, GD Goenka University between November 30, 2018 to December 2, 2018.
PAPER PRESENTATIONS
 I. Ms. Sonal Chauhan and Ms. Ananya Gaur (Class of 2021) presented their paper titled “A Comparative Analysis: Revenge Porn” and were awarded as “Best Presenters” in the recently concluded Converse’19 - A Two day National Seminar, organized by the Centre for Human Rights of Symbiosis Law School, Hyderabad held from February 15-16, 2019.   II. The team consisting of Ms. Indumugi and Ms. Bijaharini Gopalakrishnan (Class of 2022) have presented their paper at the 10th Ambedkar Memorial Lecture’s National Conference on “Social Inequalities and Exclusions in Contemporary India” held at TISS, Tuljapur during February 15-16, 2019. The said paper presentation was based on a qualitative and empirical research work undertaken for over 2 months on, “Stigmatization of single-parents: The Psychological and Social Experience in South India” and this work received a verbal special mention of being the best-written paper.

Previous Moot Court Achievements
