She completed her under graduation in 2008 at Government Law College Madurai. From 2008 to 2012 she was practicing at the Madras High Court, other lower Courts and Tribunals at Chennai. Her areas of practice were service matters, labour disputes and family disputes. Thereafter in 2015 she completed her post graduation specializing in Business Laws at the Tamil Nadu Dr. Ambedkar Law University, Chennai. She also cleared the NET (Law) in 2015. In 2016 for a brief period she was working as Assistant Professor (Law) at the School of Law, Vels University, Chennai. Thereafter she joined as the first Assistant Professor (Law) at the Andaman Law College, Port Blair and she worked there between 2017 to 2019.
