Dr. Thomas Felix joined the Tamil Nadu National Law University (TNNLU), Tiruchirapalli in July 2020. He is currently Assistant Professor of Economics. He is presently handling Economics I and Economics II. He completed his B.Sc (Agri) from Thanthai Roever Institute of Agriculture and Rural Development, Perambalur in 2013, M.SC (Agri) with the specialization of Agricultural Economics from Agricultural College and Research Institute, Madurai in 2015 and Ph.D (Economics) from Tamil Nadu Agricultural University, Coimbatore in 2018. He got UGC-MANF fellowship award for his doctoral programme also he got ICSSR Post-Doctoral Fellowship in 2019. After his doctoral programme, he worked as a Research Associate in Madras Institute of Development Studies (ICSSR Institute) in Chennai for one year. Before joining TNNLU, Dr.Thomas Felix was engaged as a Post-Doctoral Fellow in Tamil Nadu Agricultural University, Coimbatore. He has cleared ASRB-NET, UGC-NET and TN-SLET. He has published 11 research articles in reputed journals, presented more than 20 papers in national and international conferences and participated in six national workshops. Further, he has extensive knowledge in handling software’s like STATA, SPSS, R, SAS, E-Views, LINGO, Minitab etc. His areas of interest include Agricultural Economics, Natural Resource Economics, Environmental Economics and International trade and Marketing.
