Panel Discussion on India's achievement in International Organisations @ 75 years

The Final year students pursuing ‘Law of International Organizations’ as an elective course participated in a panel discussion as part of the Suthanthira Thirunaal Amudha Peruvizha (STAP) initiative. The panel discussion was based on the theme “India’s Achievements in International Organizations at 75”. The Programme started with a Welcome address by a student, Santhiya. The entire event was moderate by Shradha Pandey from the same class. The discussion took place in three parts involving three different student speakers. The discussion was under the supervision of the faculty, Mr. Jino M Kurian. It attracted participants from various batches of under graduation and post- graduation. Event was witnessed and encouraged by the Vice Chancellor and the faculty members of TNNLU.

Indumugi C was the first speaker for the event and presented on the topic ‘India’s Relations with International Organizations: The Past (1919 - 1999)’. Followed by Ajay Sharma STR, who spoke on the topic, ‘India- The Master of the art of diplomacy’. K.A. Dhananjay was the third speaker and he expressed his views about, ‘India’s future in International Organisations’. All the speakers have introduced their respective topics to the participants, made them aware of the existing law and literature and concluded with their views and perspectives on the same.

As a part of conclusion of the event, Vote of Thanks was delivered by Walter Sylesh, final year student. The event was a huge success, giving a platform for students to explore in detail in the area of study of International Organization.
