Constitutional Law Society

About the Society

The Constitutional Law Society TNNLU, inaugurated in October, 2017, is a student-run body to celebrate and debate on constitutional developments of contemporary significance. The CLS is dedicated to cultivating an environment of constitutional inquiry and academic freedom in the campus. In pursuit of the protection of academic thinking, the society has organized lectures, quizzes, mock Constituent Assembly Debates (mock CADs), lectures and discussions to inculcate constitutional spirit and interdisciplinary interactions.

The CLS Blog

In 2021, the Society launched the ‘CLS-TNNLU Blog’, an online publishing forum, to bridge the gap between the academic community and non-academicians. The CLS-TNNLU Blog aims to provide a forum for research and engagement in nuances of Constitutional Law and the contemporary significance of the expanding jurisprudence. The Blog invites rolling submissions on legal, institutional and policy perspectives of constitutional developments from students and experts in practice and academia.
