The Art Club of Tamil Nadu National Law University is a committee that was founded by the student community, who came together to create a space for creativity and expression through art. This motivation is the primary goal of the Art Club as constituted under the SAF guidelines and all its committee members. The student community of TNNLU is the driving force and inspiration for the committee as the club strives to celebrate and encourage artistic expression among the students. The Club has conducted numerous events which have ignited enthusiastic and passionate participation on the part of the student community. The Club consists of members from all batches of Undergraduate as well as Post Graduate students, among whom a convenor and co-convenor is elected by the students, and a Faculty-In-Charge who is responsible for the functioning of the Club and its constitution.
The Art Club regularly conducts events for the student community and faculty alike. The Club regularly conducts art discussions, workshops on different styles of arts and crafts, exhibitions, poster-making competitions, rangoli competitions, and stress-free art events, where the students and faculty can come to the venue and create art to relieve their stress which is organized by the Club. Additionally, the Art Club has contributed to the university and collaborated with other committees, designing logos and posters, painting university walls with impactful artwork, conducting events in the University’s cultural fest, etc. The Art Club is passionate about cultivating a unique artistic identity for the university through the engagement of the student community. It continues to do so with several more events on the horizon.
