Teaching & Industrial Experience

Mr. Jino M. Kurian has over 11 years of combined academic and industry experience. He is currently serving as Assistant Professor of Law at Tamil Nadu National Law University, Tiruchirappalli. He has previously served in the same institution, where he taught courses including Law of Contracts, Law of Property, Private International Law, Law of International Organisations, and Corporate Restructuring (Mergers & Acquisitions).

He also served as Assistant Professor of Law at Bharata Mata School of Legal Studies, Kerala, where he taught undergraduate and postgraduate courses in Company Law, Public International Law, Private International Law, Corporate Governance Laws, Corporate Finance Laws, Interpretation of Statutes and Legal Drafting. During his tenure, he also functioned as the Head of the B.B.A. LL.B. Department, coordinated activities of the Research & Publication Cell and Debate Club, and served as a Member of the Anti-Ragging Squad. He also participated in the centralised valuation of law examination papers conducted by Mahatma Gandhi University and guided LL.M. dissertations and student research projects, including empirical research components in accordance with university requirements.

Mr. Kurian has also served as Adjunct Faculty at Amity University Dubai Campus, United Arab Emirates, where he taught Business Ethics and Legal Aspects of Business.

In addition to his academic career, he possesses substantial professional experience. He has worked as Legal Advisor at Chanakyatse Consultancy, Dubai & India, Senior Executive – Legal at Aster DM Healthcare, Dubai, Assistant Manager – Legal at Crowe, Dubai, and practiced as an Advocate in Kerala. His professional work has involved corporate structuring, mergers and acquisitions, commercial contracts, regulatory compliance, arbitration, and cross-border legal advisory.
