She started her academic career as Assistant Professor of Commerce and as Principal in Sri Sarada Niketan College of Science For Women, Karur and as Principal of Valluvar College of Science and Management, Karur.She had been as Senate Member of Bharathidasan university She has more than 15 years of teaching experience in reputed institution of higher learning.
She has Research Experience and fifteen M.Phil degrees were awarded under her guideship and also as a Research adviser for Ph.D research scholars under Bharathidasan University.She also acted as External Examiner for M.Phil Degree Viva - voce Examination. Twice she had been as a External Examiner of Ph.D viva -voce Examination held at Mother Teresa University,Kodaikanal.She had been Member of Doctoral Committee for Ph.D research scholars.
She has interest in Extension activities and worked as National Social Service Programme officer and also worked as coordinator of Campus Diversity Initiative Programme ( A Ford Foundation Project, New Delhi) and attended Orientation Programme at Kemmangundi Hills, Karnataka.
She has experience of being Chief Superintendent of TNPSC Examinations and University Examinations.
She joined as Assistant Professor of Commerce under contract basis at TamilNadu National Law University in the year 2014-15 and as permanent faculty from 1st July,2015 onwards.
She has participated and presented papers in many International, National, Seminars , Conferences and Faculty Development Programmes.
