Greetings from the Moot Court Committee!

We are thrilled to announce another significant achievement for TNNLU. Our team, comprising Varshaa Maharaja, Sneha Dharshini, and Sarumathi V., delivered an exceptional performance at the VII Surana & Surana and UPES School of Law, National Insolvency Law Moot Court Competition, 2024. The team emerged as quarterfinalists and was further honored with the Best Memorial (Respondents) Award, along with a cash prize of ?3,000, and the Second Best Overall Memorial Award.

The competition was graced by the presence of esteemed legal luminaries, including Hon’ble Mr. Justice Aniruddha P. Mayee of the Gujarat High Court, who served as the Chief Guest. Additionally, Adv. Anand Chhibber, a distinguished advocate at the High Court of Punjab and Haryana, brought valuable insights and gravitas to the event. Their presence highlighted the significance of insolvency law in the evolving legal landscape and inspired participants to engage deeply with the subject matter.  The National Insolvency Law Moot Court Competition serves as a premier platform for law students. Competing in such a challenging arena and achieving recognition for both their oral and written advocacy underscores the TNNLU team’s diligence and legal acumen.

We extend our heartfelt congratulations to Varshaa, Sneha, and Sarumathi for their remarkable performance and for bringing laurels to the university. We look forward to celebrating many more such accomplishments in the future.

Congratulations to the team once again, and best wishes for continued success!
