TNNLU-NDLI club is formed by Circular. No: 1019/REGR/TNNLU 2021-7, dated 25.06.2021. The object of the TNNLU-NDLI Club is to disseminate and enrich the knowledge among the faculty members, students and the administrative staff of TNNLU. TNNLU-NDLI club is proposed by Dr. M. Kumaran, Assistant Librarian of Tamil Nadu National Law University. The proposal for the formation of this CLUB at TNNLU was placed before the TNNLU Library committee meeting which was held on 17.06.2021 and it was approved by the Library Committee and the Hon’ble Vice Chancellor subsequently on 21.06.2021 to proceed further.
Thereafter, the Hon’ble Vice Chancellor nominated vide Circular. No: 1019/REGR/TNNLU 2021-7, dated 25.06.2021, the following faculty members as the authorities of TNNLU-NDLI Club.
The verification process for the club was completed on 30th July 2021 and TNNLU-NDLI Club application was approved on 05.08.2021 by the NDLI authorities. Now, the club authorities are stepping towards the completion of registration process under the able guidance of our Hon’ble Vice Chancellor Madam. In this regard, the authorities were arranged two orientation programme about the NDLI with the faculty members and the administrative staff on the one hand, and the students of TNNLU on the other. The above orientation programmes were held on 11.08.2021 and 12.08.2021 respectively. As soon as the process of registration of the members is completed, TNNLU-NDLI club is intended to organize various activities such as NDLI Lecture Series, NDLI Quiz, NDLI Story Talk, NDLI Go Fish, NDLI Film Screening, NDLI Draw, NDLI Role Play, NDLI Write On, NDLI Makerspace and NDLI Debate in Institute, state and National Level to promote reading habit among the students and faculty members.
