Biography

Mr. Mahindra Prabu joined TNNLU in 2015. Before that, he worked as Project Associate at MHRD IPR Chair, IIT Madras and Guest Faculty, School of Excellence in Law, Chennai.

He completed B.A.B.L. from Government Law College, Tirunelveli [2011], and M.L. (Intellectual Property Rights) from The Tamilnadu Dr. Ambedkar Law University, Chennai [2013]. He secured University 2nd Rank in B.A.B.L and University 1st Rank and Gold Medal in M.L. (IPR). He was the recipient of Hon’ble Justice P.A. Bhagawathi Endowment Gold Medal for International Law & Human Rights (2011), Hon’ble Justice Ramaswamy Memorial Award for ‘Best Outgoing Student’ (2011), and NEPC Gold Medal (2013). He was also the recipient of the Jeeva Endowment Scholarship for Best Academic Performance (A.Y. 2008-09; 2009-10 & 2010-11) and Sri. V. Sridevan Endowment Scholarship (2013). He cleared his UGC-NET in 2013.  And currently pursuing his Ph.D. (Law) as a part-time research scholar in the Tamilnadu Dr. Ambedkar Law University, Chennai.

He has presented many research papers in various International, National, and State level Conferences, Seminars, etc., and one of his research papers was selected for the Book published on ’25 years of Consumer Protection Act: Challenges and Way Forward (2013) by the Chair on Consumer Law and Practice, NLSIU. 

He delivered guest lectures in various educational institutions. He acted as a resource person in various national conferences, seminars, and workshops. He has completed UGC Orientation Programme, Refresher Course, Short Term Courses, and various other FDPs. His areas of interest are Law and Technology, Intellectual Property Laws, International Law, Investment Law, and Property Law.
