The Quiz Competition was conducted on the broad theme of freedom movement of Tamil Nadu and the socio-economic developments after Independence in the region. The registration for the quiz opened in the last week of February. The competition was open to students pursuing undergraduate programme from recognized Institutions in the state of Tamil Nadu.
Registrations were closed on 7th March 2022. The competition was publicized in the Dare2Compete (D2C) website, which garnered around 40,000 views. The Organizing Committee received 249 registrations, of which 217 participants from 52 educational institutions across the state of Tamil Nadu were eligible to participate in the competition. The eligible participants were pursuing undergraduate courses in streams of law, arts & sciences, humanities, engineering and medical sciences.
A mock quiz was conducted on 11th March 2022 from 6.00 to 7.30 pm, a day before the main competition, to familiarize the participants with the mode and method of conduct. 124 participants attended the mock quiz. The main quiz took place on 12th March 2022, from 6.00 to 7.00 pm. The quiz consisted of 25 MCQs, prepared by two history teachers from outside TNNLU, which had to be attempted within 10 minutes. Participants were given one hour, within which they could take the quiz for any 10 continuous minutes. Each question carried 2 marks. There was no negative marking for incorrect answers. 112 participants attended the main quiz.
Post the conduct of quiz, a feedback form was circulated among the participants. 49 participants filled the feedback form. Encouraging and positive feedback was received from the participants. Participants expressed their interest to participate in other events organized by TNNLU. Winners were announced on 15th March 2022. The highest score secured was 34/50 in 4 minutes 44 seconds.

In order to meet the expenditure, the organizing committee collected a sum of Rs.3,500/- as donation from outside of TNNLU.
