Greetings from the Moot Court Committee!
We are thrilled to announce another significant achievement for TNNLU. Our team, comprising R. Shaline from the 3rd year and Suriakala S. from the 4th year, emerged as the winners of the 18th Pro Bono Enviro National Moot Court Competition, 2024, organized by the School of Excellence in Law. Their exceptional performance earned them a trophy and a cash prize of ?40,000. Adding to this remarkable achievement, R. Shaline was adjudged the Best Speaker in the Final Rounds, a testament to her outstanding advocacy skills and eloquence.
The team had the privilege of presenting our arguments before an esteemed panel of judges, which included Hon’ble judges of the Supreme Court of India, sitting judges of the Madras High Court, and renowned senior advocates. The panel’s expertise and incisive questions elevated the challenge, making the victory all the more meaningful. This achievement underscores the team’s dedication, preparation, and ability to engage with complex legal issues under pressure.
We extend our heartfelt congratulations to R. Shaline and Suriakala S. for their remarkable success and thank them for bringing laurels to TNNLU. We look forward to celebrating more such accomplishments in the future.
Congratulations to the team once again, and best wishes for continued success!
