TNNLU emerges as winners of 2nd NUALS Tax Moot Court Competition-2025. Team also awarded with Best memorial award & Preethi Mansa R wins the best speaker award

We are delighted to share yet another proud achievement of our University. Our team comprising of Kunalika S, Oviya Shree, Preethi Manasa R, Yohasri D and Moksha A were adjudged as the Winners of the 2nd edition of the NUALS Moot Court Competition, 2025. In addition to securing the championship title, the team also bagged the Best Memorial Award, showcasing their excellence in both written submissions and oral advocacy. Adding to this remarkable achievement, Preethi Manasa R (Batch of 2027) was adjudged the Best Speaker of the Competition, recognising her exceptional advocacy skills and courtroom presence.

The purpose of organising the “2nd Edition of the NUALS Moot Court Competition, 2025” was to encourage mooting in the specialised field of Tax Law and to enhance students’ interest in the constantly evolving domain of taxation. The competition aimed to provide a dynamic and ideal platform for bringing together some of the brightest and most astute young legal minds, showcasing their ability to analyse complex tax law issues, conduct in-depth legal research, and present persuasive written and oral arguments. The participants’ exceptional performance in this competitive arena reflected their outstanding legal research, written submissions, and oratory skills, which were evaluated by legal professionals.

Their achievement reflects the University’s strong emphasis on mooting and experiential legal education.
