ACHIEVEMENTS

  1. Secured the First Rank in Bachelor of Arts in English in APA College, Palani.
  2. Bachelor of Laws from Government Law College, Trichy has bestowed her with 5 gold medals including University First Rank, Hon'ble Justice Bhagwati Gold Medal.
    1.  Awarded with the Jeeva Endowment Scholarship from the Government of Tamil Nadu.
  3. During LL.M. (Cyber Law and Cyber Security) in 2015 from the National Law University of Jodhpur, awarded with two Gold Medals, securing the University First Rank with the most prestigious ‘Nani A. Palkhivala’ Gold Medal.
  4. In 2016, qualified the University Grants Commission- National Eligibility Test.

RESEARCH AND OTHER ACTIVITIES

  1. Established a university level Research Centre for Research, Development, and Training in Cyber Laws and Cyber Security (CRDT-CLCS) and the Government of Tamil Nadu funded with Rs 10 Lakhs.
    1. The Centre organizes series of programmes including national webinar and sensitization programmes under the scheme of Cyber Security Awareness Diwas since July 2022.
  2. As the Faculty In-charge of the Legal Aid Committee from 2015-2018 at the TNNLU, following various activities were carried out.
    1.  ‘Legal Awareness Programs’ in Universities, Colleges, and Schools;
    2.  A Co-coordinator in making legal awareness short films funded by the State Government of Tamil Nadu under the TANII Scheme;
    3.  ‘Intra and Inter-Legal Aid Fests of 2017 and 2018 were organized;
  3. As the Faculty In-charge of the Eco-Club from 2021 to 2023 and Chairperson of NAAC Sub-committee in 2022, conducted the following audits,
    1. Eco-Audit;
    2. Green Audit;
    3. Energy Audit;

INVITED GUEST LECTURES/INTERVIEWS

Delivered many special lectures on Cyber Laws and Cyber Security at various occasions, the notable ones are,

  1. On 31.03.2024, Chaired a technical session in two-days International Conference on Global Legal Order in the age of Artificial Intelligence (AI) and Emerging Technologies, organised by the MNLU-Aurangabad.
  2. On 20.10.2023, acted as a resource person handling a technical session on ‘Impact of Cyber crimes in Criminal Justice System’ in a one-day National Seminar on ‘Criminal Justice System and its Recent Trends’ jointly organised by Directorate of Legal Studies Tamil Nadu and Government Law College, Theni, Tamil Nadu.
  3. On 22.08.2023, delivered a special lecture on ‘A study on Legal Rights and Responsibilities- Laws governing the sexual harassment and cyber crimes’ at the National Institute of Technology, Tiruchirappalli (NIT-T).
  4. On 23.06.2023, an interview on ‘Cyber Crimes against Children- Prevention and legal regulation’ hosted by the All India Radio (AIR) Station, Tiruchirappalli, Vasantha Azhaippu Programme.
  5. On 4.5.2022, delivered a special lecture on account of Cyber Security (Awareness) Diwas on ‘A contemporary perspective of the Cyber crimes’ at the Tamil Nadu Dr. Ambedkar Law University, School of Excellence in Law, Chennai.
  6. On 15.08.2021, acted as a resource person and delivered a lecture on ‘An understanding on cyber crimes against children- with respect to POCSO cases’ in a Government Aided Primary School, Paganur, Tiruchirappalli.
  7. Delivered lectures to the Senior Civil Judges organized by the Tamil Nadu State Judicial Academy (Regional Centre- Madurai) in 2017.
